Only Dogs Roam

ONLY DOGS ROAM

There is a land where only dogs roam

Where they sniff at the air and howl at the moon

They roll in the grass and dig in the dirt

They track dirty paw prints all over the earth

They go where they want and play where they may

And sleep under stars at the end of the day

But perfect it isn’t although it may seem

Cause all of these dogs have a similar dream

At night under stars their thoughts drift away

To someone to roll with, to sniff, and to play

A friend to take care, to love and to treasure

A friendship so loyal it cannot be measured.

A Blonde Went a Skippin'

A BLONDE WENT A SKIPPIN’

Once in a time a blonde was a skippin’

And from all the wind her hair was a whippin’

It covered her eyes and she fell on her face

And dirtied her dress made of tacky pink lace

She picked herself up and went skippin once more

And lookin’ a mess she skipped toward the store

With chocolate in hand she waited in line

For soon on the chocolate this blonde ditz would dine

She paid the poor clerk, which took her forever

Counting out pennies is quite an endeavor

So on that blonde went, eatin’ and skippin’

But from all the wind her dress was a flippin’

A boy down the street couldn’t help but to stare

As he caught quite a glimpse of this blonde’s underwear

And in big red letters her undies said “Monday”

And he laughed to himself cause today it was Sunday.
